 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم  The Meaning Of the Name 'Allā h' by Eight Major Scholars ALLĀH الله  Al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Kathīr رحمه الله Imām Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله  Imām AbdurRaḥmān As-Saʿdī رحمه الله  Shaykh ʿAbdul-ʿAziz Ibn Bāz رحمه الله  Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān حفظه الله  Shaykh Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn رحمه الله  Shaykh ʿAbdur-Razzāq ibn ʿAbdul-Muḥsin حفظهما الله  Dr Ṣāliḥ aṣ-Ṣāliḥ رحمه الله  Ibn Kathīr رحمه الله said; Allah is the Name of the Lord, the Exalted. It is said that Allah is the Greatest Name of Allah, because it is referred to when describing Allah by the various attributes.
